What does "functional" mean?

Functional training is a type of training which, as the name itself tells us, follows the principle of functionality. In simple words: a workout, or an exercise in general, can be defined as "functional" if they are able to make a certain movement more efficient, or if they manage to resolve or improve any congenital physical dysfunctions or those resulting from injuries.

Gym courses are certainly fun, but, let's be honest, we cannot expect an instructor to seriously and thoroughly follow 15 people at the same time. Having a Personal Trainer who follows us in a manner is a guarantee of a superior quality of training.
